Microsoft will open a brand new retail store on June 22 in Woodfield Mall, as Schaumburg, Illinois is now planning an important role in the company’s plans to extend the retail network.

The Chicago Tribune writes that Microsoft’s new store will provide access to a wide array of products, including the new Windows 8, Surface tablets, Office 365, and plenty of devices and accessories.

“Woodfield Mall continues to attract popular retailers that complement an incredible selection of stores,” said David Gott, general manager of Woodfield Mall.

“Our recent additions, along with the upcoming Microsoft retail store, allow Woodfield Mall to continue to deliver an unmatched shopping experience to Chicago area residents and visitors alike.”

At the same time, Microsoft is also planning to open some other stores across the United States, as well as new locations in selected European countries, such as the United Kingdom.
