The company will release this month’s Patch Tuesday fixes in just a few hours

Microsoft will roll out the February 2013 Patch Tuesday updates in just a few hours, with the company expected to patch absolutely all Internet Explorer versions.

This is a rather unusual Patch Tuesday cycle for Microsoft, said Andrew Storms, director of security operations at nCircle, as the company usually fixed its in-house browser with just a single bulletin.

“Generally, when Microsoft patches IE, the patch is delivered as a single bulletin,” he told Fox News. “The planned delivery of two separate IE bulletins has my ‘Spidey’ senses on alert. I'm sure other IT security teams are wondering exactly what kind of IE valentine we're going to get.”

As usual, all patches will be delivered through the integrated Windows Update option, so make sure you’re connected to the Internet to download and deploy all fixes.
