The Redmond-based technology company is now looking for experienced software engineering managers that could help the team develop a so-called cloud-based TV platform.

As always, Microsoft remains tight-lipped on the subject and refuses to comment on what to expect from a cloud TV system, but in case you’re experienced with web apps and mobile app development, you may be the one they’re looking for.

Although it’s not yet clear if Microsoft’s upcoming system will be called Cloud TV, Liveside.net writes that Microsoft’s lawyers would be pretty busy in the near future, as most CloudTV domains have already been purchased.

What’s more, ActiveVideo Networks holds the trademark for CloudTV, so chances are that Microsoft would come up with a totally different name.

More to come on the subject, as we’ve contacted Microsoft for an official statement on this.
