The Surface with Windows 8 Pro runs the full version of Microsoft’s operating system which, in its turn, will see mainstream support ending on January 9, 2018.

The Surface RT, on the other hand, will no longer receive updates after April 11, 2017.

The Surface with Windows 8 Pro is currently available in both the United States and Canada in two different models, with 64 GB and 128 GB of storage space, respectively.
