Later this month, Microsoft is expected to make official no less than three different mobile phones, each of them aimed at a different market segment and different consumer types.

One of these handsets has been already rumored to arrive on shelves as Nokia X2, a new Android-based smartphone, the successor of Nokia X that went official in February at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Along with the new Android smartphone, Microsoft is expected to unveil a brand-new Windows Phone-based Lumia device, which should be aimed at the mid-range market, a recent article on WPDang notes.

Moreover, it appears that the company is also planning the launch of a new feature phone, which should prove a very affordable device, just as other handsets in the series are.

No official confirmation on any of these has been provided as of now, and we’ll take the info with a grain of salt until more on them is unveiled.

However, as WPCentral notes, the rumor might actually pan out, and all three handsets could be announced in the last week of June. What remains to be seen, however, is when exactly they might become available for purchase, and what price tags they will sport when that happens.
