Owners of Nokia X handsets out there can now download and install a new highly appealing game on their devices, in the form of Wordament.

The title, hugely popular and addictive puzzle game, was made available for Windows Phone handsets only recently, but it seems that Microsoft has decided to expand its availability.

Wordament is the very first Xbox game to become available for download on Nokia X handsets and is expected to provide users with an appealing experience even on the small screen of this Android-based phone.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the game has been designed to be played online in real time, and that thousands of people can actually enjoy its capabilities at once, all battling for supremacy.

“The battleground is a 4 x 4 grid containing 16 tiles, each marked with a different letter of the alphabet,” a recent post on Nokia Conversations explains.

Users will see a puzzle board similar to what every other player sees. To win, gamers will need to find as many words as possible in a specific period of time, to earn the highest scores, or find the longest words.

Just have a look at the screenshots attached to this post to make a better idea of what the Xbox game has to offer. However, the best way to learn more on the title is to install it.

“Tiles can’t be moved, instead trace your finger over the letters to make a word. The small number in the corner represents the value of each tile,” said blog post continues.

For those out of the loop, we should note that each game in Wordament lasts for only two minutes, which means that those interested in coming on top will have to have their fingers working feverishly.

As soon as the two-minute period ends, players will receive access to their statistics during the game. Thus, they will be able to see details that include the total and average points, along with average word length, or how many words they managed to find per second, along with other info as well.

Nokia X users interested in learning more on what the new game has to offer should head over to the Nokia Store today to download it.

The game is already available on a variety of mobile platforms out there, including Android and iOS, and its availability on the Nokia X Platform, a forked version of Android, should appeal a lot to many users.
