Analysis firm DFC has issued a rather interesting report after the E3 2013 event last week, in which it calls the Xbox One strategy adopted by Microsoft a deeply flawed one that could have a major impact on the game industry.

The Xbox One isn't doing so well after E3 2013, as it received some major blows from Sony's PlayStation 4 in terms of DRM and used games policy.

According to DFC analyst David Cole, Microsoft's Xbox One strategy is a deeply flawed one that could not only affect the company, but also the industry as a whole.

"Right now the entire future of Microsoft's consumer entertainment business is in question and that is likely to have a major impact on the game industry," Cole told MCV.

As of yet, Microsoft continues to make different statements regarding the Xbox One and how its policies aren't that bad.
