Microsoft keeps praising its new Surface tablets even though they’re not yet available, but the company claims that the success they’re recording so far is amazing.

In fact, the Surface 2 and the Surface Pro 2 are selling “like veritable hotcakes,” Microsoft said and yes, the company really used these words.

“Bearing in mind the limited availability, you may want to pre-order now to ensure you get the products you want when they become available on Oct. 22,” it added.

Both tablets are now up for preorder, but they won’t be shipped to users sooner than October 22. If you’re buying a Surface Pro 2 with 512 GB of storage space, on the other hand, you’ll have to wait until late October to get your hands on the new device.
