Microsoft launched the Surface Pro 3 in the United Kingdom last week, but the device is no longer available in the country, as the company is running low on stocks at almost every single retailer.

Reports coming from local media reveal that the Surface Pro 3 was selling like hot cakes from the very beginning, with Curry’s, Argos, and PC World already displaying the device as “out of stock” on their official websites.

In a statement released for the Huffington Post, Microsoft says that it’s really pleased with how sales are going in the country, explaining that some retailers still have the device in stock.

“People’s response to Surface pro 3 has been positive. Our primary goal is and will remain to get Surface into the hands of all productive people who want a tablet that matches their unique productivity needs. For those eager to buy, we recommend they go to JLP, Dixons and Argos,” the company explained.

At this point, the Surface Pro 3 still appears to be available at the online Microsoft Store, and this seems to be pretty much your only option until retailers in the United Kingdom bring more tablets in stock.

In an announcement rolled out last week, Microsoft said that those who pre-ordered a Surface Pro 3 should get their device in the very first days of availability in their countries.

Microsoft used the same announcement to bring the capabilities of the Surface Pro 3 in the spotlight, emphasizing that it’s just the perfect replacement for the traditional laptop.

“When we talk about Surface Pro 3, we always start with productivity, or said another way, the ability to get more done. But we don’t just mean it in the context of work. Because the truth is, our lives don’t fit into tidy columns,” the company said.

“That’s not how life works. In real life, people reply to emails or tweet while they watch their favorite shows. Or capture moments of inspiration while reading a good book. Or view class notes side-by-side with the night’s homework. Surface Pro 3 removes the conflict between consuming or creating—it empowers you to do both.”

The Surface Pro 3 comes with a 12-inch screen and features several CPU configurations, starting with an Intel Core i3 and ending with i7. Storage options go up to 512 GB, while the tablet also comes with Wi-Fi, USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, the full version of Windows 8.1 Pro, and a digital pen to make drawing and writing easier and faster.
