Microsoft has redesigned quite a lot of its websites lately, in an attempt to bring them in line with the modern look launched together with Windows 8 in October 2012.

Since the Online Store is playing a key role for Microsoft's long-term strategy, the company facelifted the official page as well, trying to provide visitors with a better shopping experience.

The company's latest products, including Windows 8 and Surface tablets, are obviously brought in the spotlight, while the search feature provides quick access to any other solution released by Microsoft.

In the meantime, the company is also betting big on traditional stores, with several new locations projected to get official Microsoft Stores in the coming months. In addition, several European countries are also in the pipeline to witness the opening of local stores, including the UK capital London.
