It is the best-selling edition of Office, Microsoft claims

Microsoft has just announced that its new subscription-based Office 365 has reached one million customers, revealing that it’s the most successful Office version to date.

The company has sold more than one subscription every second on average since its public launch, which basically makes it one of the most popular services on the market right now, Microsoft said.

“However, the numbers are only part of the story. At its core, Office exists to help people get things done, and people tell us they are choosing the service because it delivers full Office, it keeps them always up-to-date and it's a fantastic value,” it noted.

In addition, Microsoft also released an infographic to explain that, except Instagram, Office 365 is the number one service in a ranking concerning the overall time needed to reach 1 million subscribers.
