The holiday shopping frenzy is about to begin, and Microsoft is joining the party as well, with a series of deals put in place for those who would like to make new acquisitions online, as well as for those visiting the company’s brick and mortar stores.

Regardless whether you are a simple shopper or a student, developer or a business man looking for a deal on a specific product or another, Microsoft’s Store has your back.

For this year’s Black Friday, the company has put up on its website a series of appealing deals on Office products, games, laptops and notebooks, Kinect products or peripherals, and even Windows Phones.

For example, people can get a Samsung RC512 laptop running under the Windows 7 OS for only $499, which is $300 less than usual.

Sony’s S137GX notebook is available for only $599, which is $400 less than usual, while the Acer Iconia dual-screen touchbook was brought down to the same price, from the $999 it usually sports.

Office for Mac is now $40 cheaper, and Home and Student Office has seen a similar price cut too when bundled with a new PC purchase. Those who will get the software alone will benefit from a $30 discount.

For a limited period of time, one can save up to $200 when purchasing an Xbox gaming bundle from Microsoft’s Store, or $20 when purchasing select Xbox games. Not to mention that a three-month Xbox LIVE membership is available for only $12.99 now.

The Kinect sensor is available for only $99.99, while select computer and mobile accessories are 25% cheaper than before.

On top of that, Microsoft has free Windows Phone devices available for holiday shoppers who are willing to commit to a two-year contract agreement with a wireless carrier in the United States (AT&T, to be more precise).

Additional info on the Black Friday deals are available on Microsoft’s website here. A list of Store Locations is available there as well.
