Age of Empires, one of the most popular games from Microsoft, will arrive on devices running under Android and iOS, as part of an agreement with Japanese mobile game developer KLab.

The publisher is licensing the game from Microsoft and will have it available on the aforementioned mobile operating systems before the end of March, Reuters reports.

This is not the first game from Microsoft to arrive on mobile devices, but it is the most popular of them to be offered beyond the company’s own platforms.

Age of Empires is set to arrive on iOS and Android in English, while also expected to be delivered in other languages after the original release.

A Windows Phone flavor of the game will also be published in the future, the Redmond-based company reportedly confirmed. Apparently, the deal with KLab involves no other titles from Microsoft, besides Age of Empires.
