Microsoft confirmed a few days ago that more retailers across the world would start selling the Surface tablet in the upcoming months, and as far as rumors go, Dixons Retail could be one of the first.

Citing sources close to the talks, The Channel reports that Microsoft is currently negotiating with Dixons the terms of a deal that would bring the Surface tablet in the United Kingdom at non-Microsoft stores.

John Lewis, on the other hand, has already started selling the device, with stores across the United Kingdom to begin taking orders as soon as today. The tablet will be showcased at John Lewis stores during the weekend, the company said.

Pricing will remain the same, no matter the third-party retailer that’ll begin selling the Surface, with the same three models to be available all over the world.
