Even though Microsoft is limiting the attendance at this year Professional Developers Conference (PDC) in Redmond, it had added 65 regional “mini” PDC events in the United States and worldwide to compensate.

The PDC10 at Redmond is currently sold out but the event can be seen via live stream, starting October 28 at 9:00am PST.

All this year's keynotes will be broadcast via live stream and all content will be available on demand, within 24 hours of recording.

As this year there will be many other PDC events worldwide, at every one of them, Microsoft will be webcasting keynotes and sessions from the main PDC, on big screens.

The events will include training and access to various members of the Azure, Windows Phone 7, Windows and other teams, according to company officials.

Here are some of the places where you can attend at a mini PDC: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Tokyo, Mountain View, California, and multiple other cities in Europe, South America and Australia.

The regional event map is updated regularly and everyone interested in attending a local event can register via the regional event site.

As for the United States, the PDC is on Microsoft’s campus in Redmond this year and it will last for two whole days.

The main subjects are expected to be developer news around Microsoft's Azure and smart phone platforms, and all sessions will be highly technical, and targeted to the advanced developer.

This year will continue the tradition started by the first PDC in 1991, and will include the company's biggest platform announcements.

This event is also an opportunity to meet the latest technologies, ask those who conceived and build them different questions and to also plan the features and architecture to support future business goals.
