Phil Spencer, a vice president at Microsoft Studios, says that the company has specifically designed the new Xbox One home console in order to appeal to those customers who only want one device to deliver all their entertainment experiences.

He tells The Official Xbox Magazine that, “most people really only do buy one device, and if you're going to think about what that one device is, we believe an all-in-one system that does the best games and TV and entertainment will be something that's really unique.”

Many core gamers complained that the Xbox One reveal event failed to reveal a big line-up of launch titles for the device and focused too much on information about NFL partnerships and media delivery.

Xbox One will be out before the end of 2013 and more video game info is promised during E3.
