
Microsoft has put consumer feedback at the heart of its revamping efforts focused on Windows Live Mail. The M8 version of Microsoft's email service introduces a series of changes aimed to resolve
some of the demands spawned by shortcomings in the previous version. Initially, the upgraded M8 version will only be made available on selected server bays to a limited pool of users. The Redmond Company has failed to present a date when Windows Live Mail M8 will become available to the general public.
However, Microsoft did present a few aspects of the email service were alterations occurred. Email and contacts space and options have suffered an overhaul, the viewing area increasing in size concomitantly with the addition of new contact features and a contact importer. Microsoft is also delivering additional skins for advancing customization capabilities. Also Windows Live Mail M8 will enable users to send emails from other mail addresses via the Send Email As option. The revamped email service also delivers support for the new Windows Live "Flare" UI that has already found its way into other Windows Live services and applications.
