Microsoft has apparently started a new update rollout for the built-in Windows 8.1 apps, so don’t be too surprised if you look in the store and find several new versions of the installed software.

Today, the Bing Finance app that’s available on the majority of Windows 8.1 has gotten a new version too, with the official release notes published in the store revealing that this version comes with a My Finance section that allows you to choose from top brokerages in order to add your Securities, 401(K) and IRA accounts and access portfolio data securely.

Of course, this option comes in handy especially to those living in the United States, but the new release also includes bug fixes and performance improvements, so it’s really important to deploy it as soon as possible.

Keep in mind, however, that in case you haven’t changed the default Windows 8.1 app configuration, the Windows Store automatically downloads and installs new updates, so this version might already be there on your computer.

Overall, this is clearly worth a shot, so go ahead and download Bing Finance for Windows 8.1 to see what this version brings new.

Needless to say, the update is aimed at all Windows 8.1 versions on the market and is suitable for both PCs and tablets, including those powered by Windows RT.
