14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has just released a new version of Xbox SmartGlass, the most popular Windows 8 application at this point available on the company’s new operating system.
According to the official release notes published by Microsoft, the new Xbox SmartGlass for Windows 8 comes with various performance enhancements and feature updates, including the addition of support for Internet Explorer on Xbox 360.
What’s more, the new release packs improvements to provide “rich interactive experiences that can show new content related to what you're watching on your TV at the moment,” Microsoft explains.
The application is available in a wide variety of languages, while working flawlessly on all Windows 8 platforms, including not only the x86 and x64 desktop builds, but also the tablet-oriented Windows RT.
