The new version features many improvements as well

Microsoft has just released a new version of Xbox One SmartGlass application for Android devices, which promises to improve users’ overall experience.

The official changelog published by Microsoft confirms that this is merely a bug fix update, but some improvements to already existent features have been included as well. Here is the complete list of changes added via the latest update:

- Multiple application crashing bugs fixed; - Multiple Xbox Companion launch bugs fixed; - Pop-over image links fixed; - Achievement lists expanded for more complete views; - A new error message is implemented when Xbox One connection attempts are made and the device is not on WiFi; - The auto-reconnect success messages are improved; - Updated out of box screens; - The Xbox One SmartGlass application only works in portrait mode on 7” devices in this release.

You can now download Xbox One SmartGlass for Android 2.0.2 for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.0 and up.
