Microsoft has just released another update for its beta version of Xbox One SmartGlass application for Android devices. Aimed at those who own Microsoft’s next-generation console, Xbox One SmartGlass allows users to turn their Android smartphones into remote controls.

You will be able to sync channels on Android with the console or remotely navigate through cable’s UI box. However, some features confirmed to be included in the application might not work as intended.

For example, some strings may be out-of-date or missing, and those living in other countries than the United States may experience issues with the OneGuide.

Still, Microsoft has promised that all these known issues will be fixed in future updates. The latest update for Xbox One SmartGlass Beta adds a new Home Page that now includes a new feature called Activity Feed.

There’s also a brand new hub for Featured Content on the phone. According to Microsoft, OneGuide should now remember user’s scroll position when navigating. Lots of other bug fixes based on users’ feedback have been delivered in the update as well.

You can now download Xbox One SmartGlass Beta for Android 2.2.823.90 for free via Google Play Store. Keep in mind that the application is only compatible with devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.
