It’s been less than a week since Microsoft updated its Xbox Music application for iOS devices with support for offline music playback and now it looks like Android users will be given the same feature.

With the latest version of Xbox Music, Android users will be able to make their playlists available offline, so they can listen to their favorite music while on the go and not connected to the Internet.

Another new feature included in this update is the option to play the whole collection or various playlists by genre. No other changes have been confirmed for this version of Xbox Music, but stay tuned for more info on upcoming updates.

You can now download Xbox Music for Android 2.0.31212 for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.
