The Store application allows users to shop online various products that are available via Microsoft Store. Users can also locate the nearest Microsoft stores, make an appointment or view a schedule of what’s happening at a certain event.

Those who are already taking advantage of the application’s features will be happy to know that Microsoft has just released a new version of the Store app. Keep in mind that Store app for Windows Phone requires Microsoft Account in order to book appointments.

The latest update brings support for scanning QR Codes, as well as a new Business Consultation appointment type. Microsoft has also introduced the ability to sync appointments with those made online or at a store and has improved the search experience, including history.

With the latest version of Microsoft Store, users will be able to compare two products lined up side by side. Last but not least, the home pane content is now much richer.

You can now download Microsoft Store 2.2 for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the application is fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 7.5 and 8.
