The Redmond-based software giant Microsoft today announced the release of Windows Live Mail 2012 version 16.4.3505.0912 that brings several improvements over the previous releases.

Microsoft hasn’t released a changelog for this particular version, but it’s very likely that it brings improvements aimed at Windows 8 users, as we’re only weeks away from the debut of the new operating system.

Microsoft’s email client can run on both 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows and can handle multiple accounts, including Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail at the same time, while also offering SkyDrive integration.

A built-in calendar is also available in order to easily manage events, while a news feed reader keeps you up to date with the latest news around the world.

Of course, users who want to download the new Windows Live Mail 2012 can get it right now from Softpedia by loading this page.
