Back in October 2013, when Microsoft officially introduced Windows 8.1, the company also rolled out a brand new Help and Tips app that was supposed to help fight the confusion created by Windows 8 and guide users as they explored the new operating system.

Today, this app has gotten another update, but Microsoft is yet to provide us with an official changelog to detail the modifications that it has made to this version.

Most likely, today’s release brings bug fixes and performance improvements, so that’s probably the reason no release notes have been included too.

“Learn the basics on how to use Windows 8.1 with the Windows Help+Tips app. Find out more about the Start screen, navigating around, searching, using your OneDrive cloud storage, and more. Animated videos show how to do things with touch or a mouse,” the description published in the store details the purpose of the app.

Of course, many users who were new to Windows 8.1 tried this app, so it’s essential to keep it fully up to date with new information and performance improvements whenever it’s possible.

As a result, everyone should get the new version as soon as possible, so just download the Windows 8.1 Help and Tips app to get around the new operating system faster.
