A new version of the application is up for grabs for Windows users

If you’re running the OneDrive client for Windows desktop, you should check for new versions as soon as possible because today Microsoft has rolled out an improved build that comes to address some of the bugs reported in the previous releases.

Even though the software giant hasn’t provided a changelog for this new version, users who have already installed it claim that some of the bugs that they reported to Microsoft are no longer there, so just make sure that you update as soon as possible especially if you’ve been experiencing problems with the OneDrive client.

The version number doesn’t say much, but if it’s really important for you, it’s 2013 build 17.3.1171.0714, which also signals that this is a release that doesn’t bring any new features, while instead focusing on fixing bugs and performance issues.

The application continues to provide support for the majority of Windows versions on the market, with the exception of Windows XP, which no longer receives updates and security patches since April this year.

Needless to say, all those who are using Redmond’s cloud-based storage service on a regular basis and use the desktop client to synchronize data should get this new version, so go download Microsoft OneDrive 2013 Build 17.3.1171.0714 to make sure that all bugs are fixed on your PC too.
