Fresh Paint is one of the first apps to be ported to Windows Blue, so Microsoft has just released an updated build of Windows 8 version, just in time for the new operating system reportedly prepared for summer.

Microsoft’s Fresh Paint now comes with additional paint tools for Windows RT devices, according to the official release notes, but no specifics have been provided on these new paint options.

Fresh Paint, on the other hand, would bundle watercolor support on Windows Blue, a feature that’s not yet available on Windows 8, but it might be after the highly anticipated launch of Blue.

Even though it packs changes aimed at Windows RT tablets, the new version of the app is now being delivered to all Windows 8 versions, including x86 and x64 versions.
