Microsoft has just released a new version of the Bing application for Android devices. Although not among the most popular search apps for Android phones, Bing still has more than 1 million downloads on Google Play Store.

The latest version that has just been uploaded onto Google's applications store contains only some improvements, bug fixes and tweaks, but no new features.

According to the official changelog, the most important change is fact that developers have managed to refine battery usage when Bing is in the background.

Aside from that, Microsoft has confirmed that is has included some bug fixes and performance improvements in the update as well.

You can now download Bing for Android 4.2.2.2 for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.2 and up.
