Perhaps not many Android users prefer Bing over Google search engine, but the application released by Microsoft on Play Store has more than 1 million downloads.

This is probably a pitiful number in comparison with the huge number of Android users. Still, that doesn’t stop Microsoft from bringing new features and improvements to its Bing Search application for Android devices.

In the latest version, Microsoft engineers improved the search results pages by making them more immersive. They have also added a brand new built-in full screen browser and included new controls to search in specific countries.

Last but not least, the latest version of Bing Search comes with a refreshed interface, so long-time users will notice this at first glance.

The only downside of the application is that some features are not available in all countries. For example, the Rewards program for searches that one does is only available in the United States.

Those who already have the application installed on their devices will be notified of the update, while new users can now download Bing Search for Android 5.0.0.20140422 for free via Google Play Store.

According to Microsoft, its Android application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.2 and up.
