The TechEd North America conference, which has until now brought us some pretty exciting news on Windows and cloud services, will kick off on Monday in Houston, Texas, with the opening keynote to be streamed online.

Brad Anderson, corporate vice president, Windows Server & System Center, will hold the main keynote and although the agenda is yet to be revealed, it's safe to assume that cloud would be the focus.

What's more important is that the event will be streamed online, according to a post on Neowin, which basically gives everyone around the world the chance to stay up to date with Microsoft news aimed at IT administrators and professional as they are revealed.

“TechEd 2014 will be your single best source for the latest news, trends, resources and deep technical education. Also, the System Center team is already preparing to teach the deep 300- and 400-level content you’ve come to expect at MMS,” Anderson said in October 2013, when he announced the event that would take place between May 12 – 15.

Last year, Microsoft used the TechEd conference to reveal some news about the new Windows 8.1 operating system update, while also giving away Surface tablets for as low as $199 (150 euros), but it remains to be seen if the company has prepared some new surprises for this year's edition of the show.
