We know that the next flavor of Windows Phone is almost here, although Microsoft is still mum on the specific release date, and those who would like to learn a few more details on what the platform will bring along can now have a look at a video that teases some of the applications expected to arrive on the platform.

End-users and developers alike will benefit from the features and capabilities the new platform release will deliver to them.

New, improved developer tools have been already made available for download, although not in a final flavor, enabling developers to easily come up with appealing applications for the operating system.

The new Mango Developer Tools are based on the tools that Microsoft released last year for Windows Phone, and those who already brought applications to the Marketplace should find it easy to come up with new software.

At the same time, the Tools opened the gate to new device capabilities, so that applications would include expanded features.

In the video embedded at the bottom of this article, Microsoft calls for all developers to “build easily, build better, build now with Windows Phone.”

A wide range of benefits will also be there for users who will make the switch to Windows Phone Mango, starting with the updating Live Tiles, fast app switching, the possibility to enjoy connected applications, and more.

The video below will offer a quick presentation of some of the features that Microsoft packed with the new platform release, and those who would like to learn more on it should have a look at the clip.

However, we should mention that these are only some of the enhancements that the new mobile operating system release brings along, and that users will taste performance improvements too, and more. All these enhancements and new features should be released on devices in a matter of days, so stay tuned for more on this. (via)
