Microsoft today rolled out four new advertisements for the upcoming Windows 8 operating system, but the company has also announced some other plans to continue its marketing blitz.

Besides the fact that it will bring the largest Windows Start Screen ever right in Times Square, the Redmond-based firm will also air Windows 8 TV commercials during UEFA Champions League matches.

This new campaign goes hand in hand with Microsoft’s intentions to target the youth computer user category with its Windows 8 OS, as UEFA CL is enjoying an extraordinary success in this particular age segment.

“The campaign will include television commercials along with print ads, banner ads online, outdoor posters and branded-entertainment elements such as the musical show La Voz in Mexico, the iconic MTV European Music Awards in Germany, and the popular UEFA Champion League in Ireland which will last into the New Year,” Microsoft said.
