Microsoft again used the Patch Tuesday updates to address the Surface Wi-Fi limited connectivity issues first reported some months ago and this time the company swears that it has completely fixed the bugs.

As you probably heard by now, a so-called limited connectivity issue affected lots of Surface RT and Pro tablets, so users had basically no easy option to use their devices to browse the web.

“There were improvements back in the March update that reduced the instances of ‘limited connectivity’, and we’ve gone further since then to minimize these events from the Surface side. We take the ability to get and stay connected very seriously and hope that you’ve noticed the improvement,” Brian Hall, general manager, Microsoft Surface, explained.

Of course, users are recommended to download and apply the latest firmware update released by Microsoft, as all patches are delivered via the integrated Windows Update option.
