The Redmond-based technology company spending big on Surface marketing

Microsoft’s marketing blitz in the United States continues with a new effort supposed to promote the Surface tablet.

It’s no secret that Microsoft turns to popular TV series in the United States to advertise its products, but this time the company has adopted what seems to be one of the most aggressive marketing strategies since the debut of Windows 8.

As you can see for yourselves in the video above, the Surface plays a leading role in this new Suburgatory episode, so Microsoft has probably spent quite a fortune to advertise its first tablet ever.

This isn’t a new marketing stunt, however, as Apple adopted a similar tactic some time ago when it promoted the iPad tablet in a Modern Family episode.

Hats off to Microsoft. This is product placement at its best.
