Microsoft Surface RT Goes on Sale in New Countries in Europe

Microsoft has officially launched the Surface RT, the company’s first tablet in history, in new European countries today, with pricing to remain the same as on the other markets.

The device is now available not only in the United States and Canada, but also in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. The United Kingdom and France already had the Surface RT for sale.

The Windows RT tablet can be purchased either from select retailers or from the official Microsoft store, with more details provided on the local versions of the company’s website.

As for the Surface Pro, Microsoft is yet to reveal international availability of the device, but the company has already stated that more information would be provided in the upcoming months.
