Microsoft’s Surface RT, which is actually the first tablet in Redmond’s history, is now available at Amazon for only $283 (€207), with the device still in stock at the time of writing this article.

WinBeta writes that supplies are limited, so in case you really want to buy the tablet at this special price, you clearly need to hurry up a little bit, as many people are likely to try to take advantage of this offer today.

The Surface RT is powered by an Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and comes with 32 GB or 64 GB of storage space. The device is said to offer up to 8 hours of battery life, while also providing buyers with a plethora of connectivity options which include USB and MicroSD ports.

The Surface RT was launched together with Windows 8 on October 26, 2012 and received a hardware upgrade in October 2013 when Microsoft officially introduced the second-generation model.
