Microsoft has recently confirmed that its Surface Pro tablet would go on sale in Australia on May 30 via its official online store and through two different local retailers.

JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Normann will both sell the Surface Pro, with the same two models currently available in the US to be made available for Aussie buyers as well.

“Like many Aussies, I spend my life on the go, travelling in both my personal and professional lives. With Surface Pro, having the power and performance of a PC in a tablet package is the perfect fit. I can do virtually everything I’ve ever done on a PC,” Microsoft’s Ben Tan said in a short post.

In addition to Australia, the United Kingdom will also get the new Surface Pro, while a few other countries around the world will follow in the next couple of weeks.
