More and more retailers across the Old Continent are getting Microsoft’s first tablet in history, with FNAC stores in France to start selling it as soon as this weekend.

The Surface showed up on the FNAC website just a few hours ago, which means that French users can now purchase the device too. The starting price is €589 ($775) for the entry-level model, which makes the device a lot more expensive than in the United States.

Americans have to pay only €380 ($499) for the most affordable model that boasts 32 GB of storage space and comes without a Touch Cover.

The good news, however, is that the Surface is becoming available in more countries across Europe, so sales of the device are very likely to skyrocket just before the debut of the Pro version scheduled for January.
