Windows 8.1 / Blue, the first update for Microsoft’s new Windows 8, is expected to bring several new changes, some of which concern the Metro apps available on the operating system.

As a result, the tech giant is now trying to update most of its Metro apps currently available in the Store, including some of the games offering Xbox Live support.

Microsoft Mahjong is just one of the examples, as a new version of the app is now up for grabs from the Windows Store.

According to the official release notes published in the Sore, the new build packs general bug fixes and optimizations, which means that Microsoft Mahjong should now work a bit faster regardless of whether you’re running Windows 8 on a desktop computer or on a tablet.
