The network lets you “create, collect and share stuff you love,” says Microsoft

Only Microsoft knows why Socl is pronounced “social,” but there you have it. And now it’s on iOS. The social network lets you “create, collect and share stuff you love.”

That’s the gist of it, but the service obviously does much more. It supports everything from short animated films to regular photos and you receive notifications about community activity on the content you’re interested in.

Users can share anything on Facebook, Pinterest, Tumblr, and Twitter, and organize content in collections. Since it’s “social,” it also lets you connect with others who share your taste.

To be frank, even Microsoft doesn’t seem to know exactly what Socl is good for. It tries to be everything at once, without a single standout feature (other than the open layout which fills your desktop with animated media). But it’s there for the taking, so if you’re interested, download Socl on your iPhone and give it a go.
