Simple and efficient application, runs sync tasks quietly

It’s been a while since Microsoft launched SkyDrive file sync service, but they finally managed to roll out a desktop client to handle the transfer of the data in the cloud in an easy and comfortable fashion.

SkyDrive client installs quickly and offers little configuration options to tinker with. It’s so simple that you are done setting it up as soon as the installation process completes.

Besides synchronizing the data by simply copying it to the user-assigned SkyDrive folder, you can also enable remote access to all the files on the linked PC, through the web app.

As with other file sync clients, the SkyDrive app is just an instrument that helps you benefit more from the service. It is available only for Windows and Mac platforms (desktop and mobile) at the moment, although a logical step to tackle competition or chip its market share would be to have a correspondent on Android and Linux as well.
