One of Microsoft's most important annual events for developers, BUILD, brings news about what's to come for Windows users. Either it's Windows for PC or phones, the conference provides us with lots of information on what new features and services plan to offer customers.

This year is all about Windows 10 and Windows 10 for Phones. Although Lumia smartphones owners were expecting Microsoft to release the new version of the OS this summer, the Redmond-based company confirmed that Windows 10 would first arrive on PC.

This means that Windows 10 for Phones will be launched as early as fall, probably along with some new high-end Lumia smartphones that have already leaked online.

Until then, though, fans can already test some of the features in Windows 10 for Phones Technical Preview, and Microsoft has been pretty clear on the fact that it will release new builds more frequently in the next couple of months.

Contact cards now offer multiple options

During a presentation at BUILD 2015, Microsoft showed some images of the new Phone application as well as Contact and Call History UI, NokiaPowerUser reports.

As you can see from the screenshots, the call receive UI now has all three options (Answer, Message, Ignore) on the same line, while the connected call UI has been changed.

When it comes to contacts, Windows Phone users will be able to choose how to reach someone: by SIM, Skype, Lync or Xbox. Obviously, you will have to manually fill in all the details of that person prior to choosing how to contact him/her.

Furthermore, the Phone app UI has been slightly redesigned and has a new layout with navigation elements on top, content elements in the middle, and command elements at the bottom.

The new changes are expected to be implemented in the next Windows 10 for Phones Technical Preview builds, so Windows Insiders can have the chance to test them before Microsoft releases the final version of the operating system.
