The second-generation Surface is already up for preorder, with Microsoft claiming that the demand it got so far is absolutely amazing.

As a result, Redmond has decided to roll out more clips to introduce some key features of the new devices to the market, explaining that the Surface 2 was designed to be thinner and lighter than its processor.

The new video called “The Making of Surface 2” shows several key Microsoft employees that took part in the development process of the revamped tablet, including Panos Panay, the man in charge of the entire Surface team.

Both the Surface 2 and the Surface Pro 2 are set to be shipped to customers on October 22, so go reserve your own if you’re really impressed with what you’re seeing in this new video.
