It’s not a secret anymore that Microsoft is ready to spend millions of dollars to advertise Windows 8, but it seems like the Redmond-based technology company has finally arrived on British soil with its marketing efforts.
that Microsoft has set up a slide in the Bluewater shopping center in Kent as a means of promoting the new Windows 8
. Microsoft describes the new operating system both fast and fun, just like this gigantic slide.
Every adult or kid who embarked on an adventure down the slide received a printed photo of themselves and a digital copy emailed on a mobile device.
Those who tweeted a picture with the slider were eligible for a special contest, with an HP tablet (why not a Surface?) as the grand prize.
