Microsoft is already selling the Surface RT in China through Suning, a long-time local partner that’s also shipping some other products belonging to the Redmond-based technology giant.

Well, it appears that Microsoft isn’t quite satisfied with the way the Surface RT is selling in the Suning stores, so the company decided to pick four new retailers to bring the tablet closer to buyers.

WPCentral.com writes that Microsoft will also sell the first tablet in its history at PC Mall, Sundan, One Zero and 360buy, some of which also own online stores. Suning will continue to sell the tablet too.

As for sales, Microsoft refuses to provide any accurate details, but analysts around the world point to a rather disappointing performance. It appears that Microsoft sold a total of 1.5 million units, out of which 400,000 were Pros.
