Even though the Surface tablet is yet to be released, the device is already sold out in several countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom.

British users have no other choice right now but to either wait up to 2 weeks for a tablet or to purchase the most expensive version, the 64 GB Surface with a Black Touch Cover.

The official Microsoft Store UK says that the 32 GB version, with and without a cover, is temporarily sold out, but you can write down your email to receive a notification when the product becomes available.

The Surface tablet will officially be unveiled tomorrow together with the Windows 8 operating system and is slated to hit the shelves in both the US and Europe on Friday.
