As I've told you a couple of days ago, Microsoft has relaunched the Scroogled campaign with a new effort, this time attacking the Gmail platform.

The company claims that Google uses Gmail to deliver ads that look just like regular email right in your inbox, tricking you into believing that a new message is waiting to be read.

Of course, Microsoft is encouraging everyone to make the switch to Outlook.com because it pays much more attention to users' privacy, regardless of the service they access.

“Google violates your privacy by reading every single word of every single email sent to and from Gmail accounts so they can better target you with ads. Now, they're going one step further over the line by using that same personal information to spam your inbox with ads that look like real emails,” Microsoft explained.
