Microsoft has re-uploaded the first Surface 2 video, this time without a Start Menu and focused more on the key characteristics of the new device.

As I’ve reported to you less than 24 hours ago, Microsoft accidentally uploaded a Surface 2 promotional clip showing the Windows 8 desktop with a third-party Start Menu, even though the company has often claimed that users no longer need such a feature.

Redmond was quick to remove the video, saying that it was all just a mistake of a company employee, promising to re-upload a slightly modified clip in just a few hours.

The new ad is now online and shows us that Microsoft has apparently learned from its own mistakes, as the video is less focused on dancing and more on the actual features of the device.
