Microsoft has recently released a new version of its OneNote application for Windows 8, thus introducing a collection of new features, plus several important bug fixes.

The company detailed the changes in a blog post, saying that OneNote for Windows 8 now packs pen and ink improvements.

“Many of you wanted better pen customization while drawing and handwriting, as well as the ability to quickly flip between customized pens. We're happy to share that you can now do both in the updated app,” the Office team said in the post.

In addition, the new version packs support for additional languages, while also offering users the option to quickly access their notebooks on Office 365 using a list of recently opened documents displayed after login.
