14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has released Office 365 Admin, a new iOS application for IT service administrators who wish to connect to their organizations’ Office 365 on the move.
According to the company, “The Office 365 Admin mobile app empowers IT service administrators to connect to their organizations’ Office 365 service status on the go.”
Administrators can view maintenance status updates and service health information, and information can be filtered by service subscriptions. App data refresh intervals can also be configured within Office 365.
IT guys looking to download Office 365 Admin need to have an active Office 365 subscription with administrator user rights. Windows Azure Active Directory Multi-Factor Authentication is currently unsupported, according to Microsoft.
The app is localized in English only for now (probably forever), and compatibility starts at iOS 6.1 iPhones, iPads, and iPod touch devices that support the firmware. It runs natively on all screen sizes.
